Antony says he is "ready" to face Real Madrid as the Manchester United loanee struck a hopeful tone that his Real Betis red card will be overturned.

The 25-year-old made it clear he is champing at the bit to face Madrid on Saturday and is also hopeful he will get a favourable decision on his suspension.

He said, via Mundo Deportivo: “I am always looking forward to playing. I still don't know if I will be able to do so on Saturday, we are going to try to appeal. The move is a bit difficult. There will be an appeal and I am ready to play against Madrid. I am enjoying myself a lot, I am very happy."
Antony had looked like a new player since swapping United for Betis on loan earlier this year. The ex-Ajax man has scored three goals and bagged two assists in six appearances and is clearly relishing his chance to play regular football again after a nightmare spell with the Red Devils.
Antony and Betis will wait to find out whether or not the winger is available to play against Madrid, with a decision expect on Wednesday.
