A spokesperson for the League One outfit has confirmed that a police report has been filed, with efforts being made to recover costs from insurers. A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: “Enquiries into the incident are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact officers on 101, or via our website, using reference number 25000008049.”
Wrexham’s plans to build a new training facility have been hit with a number of problems, with initial building work having taken place before the relevant planning permissions were secured. A green light was given by Wrexham Council in December despite objections from neighbours regarding the supposedly “brutal” appearance of the scheme – which is taking place close to Darland High School in the village of Rossett.
